DAY FOUR                         Friday, 22 December

Today was 'tour the island with cameras' day.  Xiomara (housekeeping) had told us that even more of Natural Bridge had just fallen.  We had to check it out.

I spent a lot of time kicking over those idiotic rock piles that the tour bus guides promote as being some kind of message system.

Hank shot.  He's getting really good at it.

Lunch was at Coco Beach Bar.  Hank had a burger and I had the grouper  platter (which, of course, was the 'special'.   In Aruba, grouper is also called the 'special' and the 'catch of the day'). Both were really good.

The service was great.  The wind took my menu (duh) and dumped it on the beach.   The waiter told us he'd charge us only a hundred bucks for it.  I went to fetch it but he beat me to it.    Waiters can be very fast when a hundred bucks is at stake!

We sat near a table of first-timers who wanted somewhere neat to see a sunset and had thought about dinner at El Faro Blanco.  Talked them into shooting at the lighthouse but not eating there - except maybe dessert.  Also suggested AMBR bar at sunset.  We hope they had a good time.  They were nice folks.

Down by the Pet Cemetery near Baby Beach.
