LaCabana

This is Sassy's first year at LaCabana and our third.  We owned (but no longer do) a week in a studio in the quiet wing by the Chapel.

La Cabana is usually a happening place with lots going on.  2003 had been lean for Aruba because of the financial problems in South America and the reticence of North Americans to travel outside the country.  So La Cabana was quieter than usual, which suited us just fine.

We ate a few  meals at The Captain's Table and some lunches at the restaurant by the pool.  The pool is our usual haunt here, as Eagle beach is across the street and is a bit far for Hank to walk.  We did go down to the ocean twice where we found the water to be clearer than at Palm Beach.
