Red Stick

We stopped at Baton Rouge to play at the Casino Rouge, have lunch, and get a look at the Mississippi. No luck with gambling, but the lunch was nice I liked Red Stick better than The Big Easy, actually.

We are now in the middle of Mississippi - at a college town called Hattiesburg (or someting close to that) Still on CST so we always miss whatever we usually would watch at 8PM because here it comes on at seven and we are at dinner. Tonight dinner was at Paninos - it was very good. They make a special "three milk" dessert which is essentially white cake soaked in sweet milk and topped with whipped cream. Very good.

We're at a Fairfield because other places were booked. The good part is there's an indoor pool which we are about to go soak in, WIFI access, and a continental breakfast. It's a bit pricey, but a very nice property.

I have yet to plan tomorrow's route and try to figure where to do a laundry. We hear it's supposed to be icy on Monday in NJ so we may drag our heels a bit.
