PLANS
In his autobiography, Placido Domingo said that he an Marta would get in the hotel elevator in the morning thinking they'd go to London that day. By the time the elevator reached the ground floor they had decided to go to Madrid.
We are about to get in the car. We believe we are going to Clearwater.
Madrid is still an option.
Leaving home
Last night Rainy got a call that her dad was in the hospital so she spent the day with him. He's fine now and has been released.
We took a trip to the bookstore. At home this means a long walk or a short drive to either Barnes and Noble or Borders. Here it means 30 miles to Ocala. We couldn't get what we wanted anyway but we did find a truckstop eatery called Coffee Kitchen which had a buffet that was quite good.
Though we had originally thought to leave here on Wednesday, the weather looked bad. So tomorrow's the day we leave "home" which is pictured below.

Killer Crepes

Yesterday Rainy took us to the charming little town of Mt. Dora where we had lunch of salad and crepes. Awesome.
'Round the back of the restaurant is a Stamping store. The owner is an excellent guitarist and has one of the finest acoustic guitars I've ever heard.
Visiting Rainy
We have been having a wonderful visit with Rainy at her rental house in Leesburg. The weather has been very cooperative. Here is today's sky:

Hank has been kept busy with Rainy's new computer.

Today we took Rainy out for a birthday treat to a champagne brunch at The Mission Resort. The food was incredible. Chef Haggerty gave me his recipe for Colcannon, which I intend to try. Sassy enjoyed the champagne, as usual.
